It's been a long time since i've put anything up on here. To be honest, my world just moves a little to fast for regular blogging these days.

I'm alive and kicking in other places, you can find me on ...

Twitter
Facebook
LinkedIn

Maybe someday i'll find an abundance of time to start writing a real blog again. I wouldn't hold my breath. Try to make due with tweets & facebook updates for now.

Last night we did a little family outing to get flowers for Belle's grave. Rowan picked them out at the flower shop. We walked out as a family to pay our respects.

Rowan decided she wanted to spread the flowers out over the grave so Rowan and Levity took turns tossing them out. We asked Rowan if she wanted to say a little prayer. She said "Jesus please help the dog that killed Belle to be nice and not be so mean."

As we walked away, even Levity understood enough to wave goodbye.

We got up this morning to find our beagle (Belle) was killed last night. From all we can tell she was attacked by a much larger dog. It seems wrong to even note that it made for a rather "inconvenient" morning. Rowan said that she was taking a "brain break" from thinking about it (something she learned in health class) - so she seems OK.

She was a really great dog and we're going to miss her terribly. It would be nice to know more about what happened, or to punish someone or something - but it doesn't look like we'll have that option.

We miss you Belle.
